She is one of the few SLPs in the United States to utilize ultrasound visual biofeedback for oral function, swallowing, and speech. Depending on the needs of the client, these specialized techniques can help support more effective, individualized therapy.
PROMPT Therapy
Hands-on support for motor speech development.
As a PROMPT Certified Instructor, Dr. Jenn incorporates PROMPT and other advanced motor speech approaches, including Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) when appropriate, to help children develop accurate speech movements, improve motor planning, and communicate with greater clarity and confidence.
Ultrasound Visual Biofeedback
Helping children see how speech works.
Ultrasound visual biofeedback uses real-time imaging to show how the tongue moves during speech. This innovative technology can be especially helpful for children with persistent speech sound disorders or childhood apraxia of speech by making complex tongue movements visible during therapy.
Dr. Jenn is among a small group of speech-language pathologists with advanced training in this specialized technique, offering a level of treatment precision not widely available in traditional speech therapy settings.
Hippotherapy
